About Us

Act The Part is not corporate training disguised as theatre. It is an acting program built on the belief that the craft itself has something beautiful to teach us about being human.

Meet the Founder

I have always been fascinated by how we behave, how we communicate, and how deeply we can affect one another. That fascination is at the heart of both my work in learning and development and my lifelong passion for acting.

I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a two-year Advanced Diploma in Acting from Sheridan College. Through my training, I discovered that acting is about far more than performance. It teaches us to listen with intention, communicate with clarity, understand different perspectives, build confidence, and connect authentically with the people around us.

Throughout my career as a corporate trainer, I regularly drew upon these techniques while working with individuals and large groups. Acting helped me create engaging learning experiences, inspire participation, adapt to different personalities and learning styles, and support people as they developed new skills.

Act The Part grew from the belief that the transformative power of acting should not be limited to actors or the stage.

This program brings the beauty, imagination, and humanity of acting into everyday life and the workplace, helping people become more confident communicators, thoughtful collaborators, and self-aware human beings.

For me, the most magical part is watching someone begin to understand people in a new way and seeing that understanding change how they show up in the world.
